In 1978, with the enthusiasm and passion of those who love the underwater world, the brothers Paolo and Piero Bonassi decide to open Punto Sub; a young Italian company focused on the purchase and sale of diving equipment.
Over the past 40+ years Punto Sub has grown from being one of the first diving centers in Europe to become a diving, spearfishing and swimming industry leader.
In 2009, with the same passion and professionalism, the Bonassi brothers decided to expand to México, capitalizing on the energy and dynamism of their sons, Alberto and Andrea.

and the vitality of Punto Sub México come together to
shape a project capable of responding to the individual
needs of each of their clients.
In 2018, Punto Sub launched its own brand of scuba
diving equipment: Bonassi.
The strength of the Bonassi brand is based on the Bonassi
family’s forty-year history in the field of scuba diving, a history that has lived every step of the evolution of this industry almost since its birth. This vast experience has educated the Bonassi family, and their products reflect the best features available in the market while maintaining the
company focus on original products specifically designed
for the diving center, rental and snorkeling markets.
We love the sea, nature, cenotes, and the biodiversity of our planet, and we are committed to moving towards the well-being of our planet. Our goal is to eliminate single-use plastics in our products by 2024.
We can live in harmony with the seas, lakes, cenotes, and rivers. Our heroes wear wetsuits and work every day so that you can explore the beauty of our planet with us. We believe that every time we dive into the sea, we gain a better perspective of our environment.
We work with different associations, universities, civil organizations, and biologists on several projects about recycling, preservation, environmental education, ecological culture, and species migration.
We research species migration and environmental preservation to build up an eco-friendly culture.
